How to care about our products

Wondering how to care for a product purchased in our store?

Hats and other accessories should be hand washed at a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius.

For winter hats, it's recommended not to iron them and to dry them flat - this way, they will definitely retain their shape.

As for natural pom-poms, they can be hand washed as well. After washing, they should be combed to restore their fluffiness. A brush you use for grooming your pet at home will work perfectly for this purpose.

JAMIKS brand products are crafted from the highest quality materials, known for their natural purity, delicacy, and breathability. As a result, your child's head will be kept in the right thermal comfort, ensuring they won't feel overheated or sweaty!

Why are cotton hats ideal for a baby's skin?

100% cotton yarn has numerous advantages, such as lightweightness, high moisture absorption, resistance to abrasion, hypoallergenic properties, and it also naturally tends to shrink. According to the Polish standard PN-_P-84004:2003, this shrinkage is 6%.

Cotton hats are exceptionally breathable and provide comfort when worn. Cotton stands out due to its high moisture absorption capacity, quickly wicking moisture away to the outside.

Any product labeled as "100% cotton" will gently shrink during washing. This is completely normal, which is why our hats made from 100% cotton fabric are produced slightly larger for a given size.

After washing the hat, lay it flat on a drying rack and gently stretch it.

The best way to iron cotton hats is by using a steamer.

Due to the virtues and natural qualities of COTTON, all our hats for children up to 1 year old are either entirely made from 100% cotton yarn or have a cotton lining.

Viscose Hat - Soft and Elastic

VISCOSE is a fiber obtained from cellulose and possesses all the advantages of cotton. Hats made from yarn containing viscose are breathable, very gentle, and comfortable on the skin.

Just like cotton, viscose also has a significant shrinkage factor!

Cashmere Hat - a demanding Delight

We craft high-quality winter hats and scarves using noble fibers such as CASHMERE and ANGORA.

These are exceptionally soft, fluffy, and delicate wools, which is why they require special care. Cashmere stands out with its unique heat-retaining properties.

Since the cashmere goat is frequently exposed to water, your hat can also be subjected to washing in water.

The water for washing should be lukewarm, the hat turned inside out, and it should not be left in the water for an extended period. Wash gently, then rinse in clean water. Wrap the hat in a thick towel to remove excess water. Dry flat.

They naturally tend to pill, which means you might notice small, tangled balls forming as you wear them. This is due to the nature of cashmere fibers. These balls should be shaved off using a wool shaver or carefully snipped with scissors.

Did you know that a wool hat can shrink?

WOOL - a valuable material with incredibly rich properties, is durable but also very prone to shrinking. Remember, therefore, that hats containing wool in their composition should be hand washed at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.

Remember to always separate white and colored items.

Many natural fabrics have dye-absorbing properties. If your product changes color after washing, check if it was washed with another item of a darker color.

Such cases are not eligible for complaints.
